What is required to reserve dates?

We collect 50% of the grand total when you book a reservation. The remaining 50% balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We automatically charge the final payment to the credit card on file. If you want to change the card or explore other payment options, just let us know.  

How do I get a quote to see the total cost?

Easily! Enter your arrival and departure dates in the search box, choose the number of guests and location, and click SEARCH.  All available properties will be displayed. Click on the house you prefer and the total cost will be on the right side. Click on "See Details" for all charges. 

Am I able to find open dates without searching multiple times? 

Yes. Click on "Availability" to see a calendar that includes all houses. Three months are displayed at a time and you can scroll forward by clicking the arrow. 

Will you hold dates while I organize my group?

We understand how difficult it is to organize a group (like herding cats), however, the only way to hold dates is to make a 50% payment.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. Reservations are booked through this website.  

What is your cancelation policy?

You may cancel your reservation up to 60 days prior to arrival. We will refund 97% of the initial payment (the credit card processing company keeps 3%) and charge a $250 cancelation fee. Once you make your final payment, you are 100% committed and your reservation can’t be canceled. We recommend that you purchase trip insurance to protect against anything unexpected affecting your trip, such as; bad weather, a pandemic, epidemic, quarantine requirements, illness, sudden death of a family member, change of plans...etc. Almost every cancelation request we receive within 60 days of arrival is due to an unexpected tragedy.  To protect yourself from that situation, purchase trip insurance. 

Do you sell trip insurance? 

We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance, but we do not sell it. A Google search will provide many choices. 

How do we gain access to the home?

Our houses have keyless entry systems for your convenience. There is a keypad installed on the front door that requires a code to enter. Your access code will be emailed 2 weeks prior to arrival. Simply enter the code and turn the deadbolt to lock/unlock. 

What do I need to bring?

Our homes are well equipped for most of your needs. Bath linens, soaps, shampoo and toilet paper are all provided. The kitchens contains two coffee makers, a drip and a Keurig. We provide pots, pans, dishes, plates, drinking glasses, utensils, etc. Basic items like salt, pepper, paper towels, sugar and sweet n low are also included. We do not provide coffee, spices, condiments or any food items. 

Do you offer tee times and packages? 

We only offer lodging. All Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail tee times are handled by their reservations team. You can make advanced tee times by calling 1-800-949-4444.

Can I host a small dinner for family or friends? 

We do not allow gatherings of any kind. At no time during the day or night can the occupancy of the home be exceeded. If a group rents two houses, all members of the group can gather in one home. 

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is at 3pm, check-out is at 11am. Our cleaning team has only four hours to prepare the home for each group of guests. Please help us provide excellent customer service by respecting our check-in and check-out times. 

Can I check-in early? Can we arrive early to drop things off? 

We sell a 3 hour early check-in (arrive at 12 noon) for $150 when available. Availability is based on whether the night before your arrival is being rented or not, and the cleaning team's schedule. Unless you purchase an early arrival, please do not approach the house until 3pm.  

How do we check-out?

There is no formal check-out procedure. We ask that you gather used linens, place all trash in bags and load the dishwasher before you leave.

Does your home have Wi-Fi?

Yes, all of our homes have WiFi that requires your name and email address to enjoy unlimited access. The network is Oster Golf Houses.

How close is your home to the golf course?

We are blessed to have spectacular locations overlooking the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail courses. In Birmingham, Prattville and Auburn/Opelika, you can’t find lodging closer to the courses than our homes! 

 

Do you allow pets in your home?

We love animals and have pets of our own, but we do not allow pets in our vacation rental homes. 

 

Can I smoke in your home?

There is no smoking inside of our homes, but we do provide outside smoking areas with ashtrays. No vaping inside the homes. 

 

How Do I Hire Your Personal Chef? 

We have a preferred chef in each location that will work directly with you to create a menu based on your input. We normally introduce guests to our personal chefs via email and let the two of you coordinate together. The cost of personal chef services depends on your selections, but plan on something similar to a nice restaurant.
